ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

Please note that the “Wild Goose” is Non-Smoking.

Accommodation
Our Guests (yourselves) will occupy the Captain’s Cabin with its full size double mattress, not large but adequate and tastefully furnished with as many lockers and drawers as ingenious minds could devise.

A convertible settee is also available for occasional use as a bed.
Once on board, it is all on one level; no sleeping below the water line, no sleeping below deck.

Meals:
On your first evening, let us do the catering for you, providing a welcoming meal with wine, recognising that you may be travel weary and in need of a little cosseting.

Breakfast will be Continental or English … continental if we’ve moored within reach of fresh croissants and you really want to live like a local or English if you prefer … either to be served at a mutually agreed time, often on the sun deck.

Your other meals will be taken at local auberges, restaurants or hotels on shore, or possibly cooked on board by yourself after a trip to the local supermarket or street market … on foot, by bike or local taxi. If cooking, do remember to check with the skipper as to what basic items are already available on the boat.

The “Wild Goose” is your home during your stay with us … there is no need to ask if you can have a cup of tea/coffee etc just help yourself and make for all who need it.

COSTS
A deposit of £125.00 (see Contact page)
Your holiday will cost you £45 per day for one person up to 7 days and £42.50 for longer, minus the deposit.

This is inclusive of accommodation, breakfasts and the first evening meal, fuel, gas, mooring fees, and the use of bicycles for two people … in short everything except your travel insurance, lunchtime snacks and evening meals.

The price is based on two people sharing the Captain’s cabin. The extra cost for any third member is £15 for one child, £25 for two. Two children would have to share the bed in the lounge area, using sleeping bags.
Non Brits can pay in euros if this is easier.

Space being limited to 2/3 person per trip, to avoid missing out on the chance to do something completely different … to pursue your hobby (photography, sketching or ornithology, perhaps) or simply to relax away that urban stress, contact us without delay.

Sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets.

Please note that we feel that the boat is not suitable for young children. Do check with us if you have any particular queries.
